Sheri and I decided to suprise the kids by taking them to Disneyland. They had no idea. The plan was to get them up early, drive down to Disneyland for the day, spend the night and then come home the next day. We did get up super early, 3:00 to be exact. I told them we were going to see Mickey Mouse after we picked up Sheri. They were very excited. I thought they would go back to sleep, but oh no. Bless their little hearts they both stayed awake until almost 6:30 then they were out for about an hour.
We had the best time. The kids did an amazing job - no tears, tantrums, screaming, etc. We were at the happiest place on earth anyway. Leisey fell in love with Big Thunder Mountain. She rode it three times in a row with Sheri and Katie. Coop fell asleep about 7 and it was good night for him. All in all we spent about 14 hours in Disneyland and California Adventures.
The tears, tantrums and screams came on Sunday on our drive home. Talk about tired kids. Holy cow!
